Club President Message
To my Rotarian Friends, and Friends of Rotary –
I’m so proud to be a Rotarian. So proud to be connected to such a positive force for good in the world. So proud to be the president of the Rotary Club of Haddonfield.
I have always wanted to help others. Connecting with Rotary has enabled me to do just that. Think about it for a moment: we are a network of 1.2 million friends, neighbors, business associates and civic leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities, to Serve Humanity through Rotary – locally, regionally. and internationally.
While much of our charitable giving now is handled by our foundation, the club itself also supports a number of local and regional projects.

While much of our charitable giving now is handled by our foundation, the club itself also supports a number of local and regional projects.
- We have sponsored a Little League team in Haddonfield ever since the league was formed, more than 65 years ago.
- We have been a major supporter of First Night Haddonfield – the family friendly, alcohol-free celebrations of the arts on New Year’s Eve – ever since it was established more than 15 years ago.
- We have sponsored Summer Concerts on Kings Highway on Friday nights in July since ... forever!
- We have supported the Haddonfield Farmers' Market for a number of years now. It's held every Saturday – rain or shine – in Kings Court.
- As I write this – last week of June 2016 – six Haddonfield Memorial High School juniors are at Stockton University, attending Rotary's week-long Youth Leadership Awards program. Some will likely tell us, when they come to a club meeting in September, "That week at Stockton changed my life."
There are other projects as well … but you get the point. We are doing an awful lot of good – locally, regionally, and internationally – and we are having an awful lot of fun doing it. Thanks to ALL of you.
It’s an honor to serve as president of the Rotary Club of Haddonfield. I am proud to have worked with all of you to help others in such a big way this year. I look forward to doing even more during the year ahead – a year when our club will celebrate its 90th anniversary of doing good, and having fun doing it.
Thank you!
Kathy M. Ross
